Membership Information

An annual  membership (12 months from the date your dues are received)  in the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan (PGRTSEM) is available in the following options:

Our regular breakfast program meetings are held four times each year and include a continental breakfast or lunch.  Each offers an excellent networking opportunity.  These meetings are free to members.  A first-time guest may also attend at no charge.  Non-members are welcome to attend for $25.  Non-members may also be included on the PGRTSEM mailing and email lists.

To Join PGRTSEM:

  1. We now accept credit card dues payments online.  Simply go to www.ncpg.org (go to Membership, and then Join/Renew, and select Michigan, Planned Giving Roundtable Southeast).
  2. Call our office at 810-678-8514 and we will send you an application packet .  Simply complete the membership application and refer to Model Standards of Practice for the Charitable Gift Planner,  return it with your check (or credit card information) to NCPG at the address on the form.  Also, if you are unable to join at this time, we will be happy to add you to the mailing list and you can attend meetings as a non-member.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE ON PLANNED GIVING (NCPG)

NCPG is a national organization for people whose work involves charitable gift planning.  Their network includes more the 120 local planned giving councils working close to home to provide education and professional community.  The mission of NCPG is to increase both the quality and quantity of charitable planned gifts by serving as the voice and professional resource for the gift planning community.  Benefits include:

  1. Electronic newsletter Gift Planner Update.

  2. Annual subscription to The Journal of Gift Planning® magazine.

  3. Members are listed on the NCPG online directory and have access to its search and membership record update features..

  4. pals(TM) - post job openings and/or view job postings on the Position Announcement Listing Service.

  5. Discounted registration for National Conference on Planned Giving.

  6. National representation through ongoing work in government relations, ethics, education and research.
