Heidi Boyd is the Planned Giving Officer at Michigan Humane. A 17-year veteran fundraiser, Heidi has worked in the performing arts and animal welfare sectors and loves working in planned giving. At Michigan Humane, Heidi leads the organization's Legacy Society initiatives, estate gift administration, and long-term relationship management strategies. Heidi holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota, and is always inspired to learn the many different pathways people take to build a career in fundraising and philanthropy. Outside of work, she currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan and sings with the University Musical Society Choral Union in Ann Arbor. Heidi and her spouse have three human children and a fur baby, a giant orange tabby cat named Fozzie who rules the roost.
